Fantasifestivalen 13 was the thirteenth edition of the Swedish music competition Fantasifestivalen that selected Sweden's entry for the North Vision Song Contest 13. Stockholm Syndrome have emerged as the winner with their song "Kalabalik".
The format of the competition consisted of six shows: four semi-final rounds, a second chance round and a final. The 32 competing entries were divided into four semi-finals, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that earned first and second place qualified directly to the final, while the songs that place third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance round. The bottom four songs in each semifinal were eliminated from the competition. An additional two entries qualified from the Second Chance round to the final, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to 10. All six shows were hosted by Robin Paulsson and Sanna Nielsen.
Format[]
Fantasifestivalen 13, organised by Sveriges Television (SVT), was the thirteenth edition of the contest in which the competition took place in different cities across Sweden. The four semi-finals were held at the Telenor Arena in Karlskrona (24 January 2015), the Scandinavium in Gothenburg (31 January 2015), the Skellefteå Kraft Arena in Skellefteå (7 February 2015) and the Malmö Arena in Malmö (14 February 2015). The Second Chance round took place at the Löfbergs Lila Arena in Karlstad (21 February 2015) while the final was held at the Friends Arena in Stockholm (28 February 2015). Thirty-two entries competed in the semi-finals, with eight entries taking part in each show. The top two entries from each semi-final advanced directly to the final, while the third and fourth placed entries advanced to the Second Chance round. The bottom four entries in each semi-final were eliminated. An additional two entries qualified to the final through duels from the Second Chance round, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to ten.
