Israelifest 1 is the 1st edition of the Israeli music competition Israelifest, which selected Israel's entry for the North Vision Song Contest 35. It is organized by Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) and took place during the period of Winter 2020-2021.
The format of the competition consisted of five shows: three semi-final rounds, a second chance round and a final. The 18 competing entries were divided into three semi-finals, with six compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that earn first and second place will qualify directly to the final, while the songs that place third and fourth proceed to the Second Chance round. The bottom two songs in each semifinal become eliminated from the competition. An additional two entries qualify from the Second Chance round to the final, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to 8. All six shows are hosted by Assi Azar & Rotem Sela.
Format[]
Israelifest 1, organised by Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN), is the first edition of the contest in which the competition took place in different cities across Sweden. The three semi-finals and the Second Chance Round were held at the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv and in the Romema Arena in Haifa. The final was held at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem. Eighteen entries competed in the semi-finals, with six entries taking part in each show. The top two entries from each semi-final advanced directly to the final, while the third and fourth placed entries advanced to the Second Chance round. The bottom two entries in each semi-final became eliminated. An additional two entries qualified to the final from the Second Chance round, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to eight.

Semi-finals[]
Israelifest commences with three semi-finals, which determine the six entries that advance directly to the final and the six entries that qualify to the Second Chance round. The running order for the semi-finals are announced shortly before the semi-final.
The semi-final results are based solely on viewer votes. The two entries that occupy the first and second places qualify directly to the final, while the third and fourth placed entries proceed to the Second Chance round. The fifth and sixth placed entries are eliminated.

The Final of Israelifest 1 took place on 1 Fabruary 2021 at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem, hosted by Assi Azar & Rotem Sela. Eight songs competed — two qualifiers from each of the three preceding semi-finals and two qualifiers from the Second Chance round. A mix of televoting/SMS voting and international jury voting selected the winner.
