Lebanon participated in the thirty-fifth edition of the North Vision Song Contest, held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, marking its thirtieth participation in the contest. The country was represented by Dana Hourani with the song "Enti Ana" (English: "You are me"), written by Anthony Khoury. The entry was chosen through the second edition of the national selection Mahrajan al'aghnia, organised by the Lebanese broadcaster, LBC.
Having achieved a tenth place in the previous edition with Azure Ryder's "Stronger", Lebanon's participation at the thirty-fifth edition was confirmed on 14th January 2020. It was announced at the same time that funding had been secured which would enable the national selection Mahrajan al'aghnia to be renewed for a second edition, with six songs to be chosen by open submission to compete in the lineup.

Six artists competed in the second edition of Mahrajan al'aghnia. The winner, chosen by a panel of international juries, was Dana Hourani with "Enti Ana", scoring 148 points.

At the contest
The semi-final allocation draw for the edition took place on 22nd February 2020 at the Hermitage Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Lebanon was drawn to participate in the second half of the second semi-final. The running order, determined by the NBU, was revealed on 7th March, where it was revealed that Lebanon would perform eighteenth in the second semi-final, following the United Kingdom and preceding Latvia. The country was twenty-third in the betting odds with odds of 4.38, making it the eleventh favourite in the semi-final.
Lebanon was announced as one of the top ten countries in the second semi-final and therefore qualified to the final. The country was allocated to perform in the second half of the final.
Following the completion of the final lineup, it was announced that Lebanon would perform fifteenth in the final, after the Netherlands and before Spain. The country placed fifteenth in the final with 246 points – fifteenth in the jury vote with 96 points (including twelve points from the Albanian jury), and sixteenth in the televote with 104 points (including twelve points from the Moroccan and Tunisian public voting). It was later revealed that Lebanon placed tenth the semi-final with 152 points, coming tenth in the jury vote with 72 points and eighth in the televote with 80 points. The country qualified to the final with twelve points more than eleventh-placed Latvia.
Both the semi-finals and the grand final were broadcast on the domestic channel LBCI and on LBC Europe. In the grand final, the points from the Lebanese jury were presented by Léa Makhoul, who represented the country in the seventeenth edition of the contest with "Give Me Sunlight".
