Olga Busuioc is an opera singer from Moldova (currently living in Milano, Italy) and is known for her stunning voice.
Career[]
She was born in 1986 in Chișinău. Being a former student of the Academia de Muzica (Academy of Music) in Chișinău and the School of Belcanto by Mirela Freni in Italy, she has taken part in various plays in operas theatres. She has experienced good education and is fluent in Russian, Romanian, Italian and English.
In December 2011, she made her successful international debut in "La Boheme" at the Hungarian State Opera, followed by the performances "Iolanta" P.I Tchaikovsky and Tatiana in "Eugene Oneghin" at the Moldavian National Opera and Ballet Theater. She has won many prestigious opera competitions, including the Zarzuela Prize along with the Prize by Francisco Vinas 2012 in Barcelona. She also received the Grand Prix and "The best interpretation" and "The best female voice at the annual Competition for Opera Singers" in St.Moniuszko 2013. In the season 2014/2015 she is singing "Manon Lescaut" conducted by Placido Domingo at the Theater Palau de Les Arts in Valencia. Other recent successes include her debut at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, where she sang the role of Mimi in Puccini's "La Boheme". In her career as opera singer, she had concerts in Rome, Bologna, Parma, Bari, Sassuolo, Faenza, Parma, Modena and Vienna.
