One Step From Paradise is a song by Malena Ernman from her fifth studio album La Voix du Nord. It was released as the fourth single from the album on 1 July 2013. "One Step From Paradise" represented Sweden in the third edition of the North Vision Song Contest and won.

North Vision Song Contest[]
SVT had announced they would hold a third edition of Fantasifestivalen to select their North Vision Song Contest 3 entrant. Malena Ernman was announced as the winner and represented therefore Sweden at the third edition. A music video was created directly after the final, featuring the highlight moments of Malena Ernman's career.
Malena Ernman performed eleventh in the grand final, where she won with one hundred and ninety-four points, achieving Sweden's first victory at the contest ever. "One Step From Paradise" managed to collect seven sets of 12 points, the most of that edition. She got the first place in the semi-final as well, receiving one hundred and thiry one points.
After North Vision, Ernman was warmly welcomed in Sweden when she arrived. Moreover she announced to go on a European Tour, including Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Serbia, FYR Macedonia, Greece and Turkey.
