Pesna za Makedonija 1 was the first edition of the Macedonian Music Competition that determined the entry for FYR Macedonia in North Vision Song Contest 5. The winner was Magdelena Cvetkoska Ena with her song "Ucam od najdobriot".
Semi Finals
MRT decided that the Semi Finals will be in duals. The winner from each dual will to the Final. The first 2 duals were the Semi Finals while the 3rd dual was the final.
